Group Cooking Parties

ESSEN-027-smHands-on Cooking Parties are a fresh and delicious opportunity to connect with friends or family while having fun in the kitchen. Custom menus begin with a conversation of what you’d like to make and come to life with three to five dishes we’ll cook in real time together. Birthday celebration, ladies night out, bridal or baby shower, corporate team building, new business development – the possibilities are unlimited. You set the table. Essen does the rest. These are parties made easy.

Cooking Parties can be held at an Essen Studio Kitchen or in your own special cooking space. A Studio fee of $75 is charged for use of one of our Kitchens.

Cooking Parties for 10 – 12 people are $75 per person and include everything except the drinks:

  • Two to two and one-half hours of interactive cooking instruction
  • Custom menu development
  • Fresh, best-quality, seasonal ingredients
  • Complete set of all recipes
  • Sit-down meal with full service
  • Custom evites to each of your guests
  • Personalized party favor for host and each guest
  • Friendly and professional staff

Group Canning Parties

Canning Parties provide the home cook with the community kitchen support, education and camaraderie to preserve seasonal food for year round enjoyment. For $300, we come to your home and together we’ll make one seasonal jam and one pickle, as well as teach you to hot water process (“can”) the items. Of course, everyone takes home a sample of our success. Be in touch at cook@essencooking.com or 717.391.8270 for more information and availability. Travel charges will be added outside Central Pennsylvania.


One-on-One Cooking Classes

Private Cooking Lessons allows you to work at your pace, beginning with menu planning and ending with a successfully completed meal. This is a great opportunity for families or couples to get acquainted with how to work together in their own kitchen.
